My name is John Bronson, a former NFL player and now an entrepreneur. After a traumatic life event, I started traveling as a way to escape.
On one of my trips, I landed in Aruba (Dutch Caribbean Island).
That is where I was inspired by Dutch influence.
Stroopwafels were invented in The Netherlands over 200 years ago.
The first time I tried a real authentic stroopwafel, I was hooked! We initially lacked information about the CPG food business but we did have resources and connections to help us navigate what we didn’t know.
One of a Kind
After doing much research, we found that it was near impossible to produce stroopwafels in the U.S, and the get same results as when they made in The Netherlands.
We decided to set up operations in the Netherlands and provide customers with the one-of-a-kind authentic taste of Dutch Stroopwafels from the Netherlands to the U.S.
We realized the real Dutch stroopwafels weren’t readily available in the U.S and we have access to providing them.
